Irish UNIFIL association was formed by a group of serving and ex PDF personnel who served in the Lebanon for the purpose of bringing other veterans together to keep the friendships formed between our Irish comrades and also those soldiers from other countries that served along side us and also to keep alive the very strong bond that we forged with the people of the villages and towns of Lebanon especially in the Area of Operation in the South of Lebanon
